Hello, everybody! I hope your week thus far is amazing! Lipstick is one of my favorite makeup products and I wanted to share some that I’ve bought recently. I’ve been using all these products for a while so I’ll give you guys a mini review of each. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and which ones you like. Also, make sure to give me some suggestions of new products to try.

swatches are in same order as lipsticks above

Bite Beauty-The perfect pair Amuse Bouche lipstick: These two bite beauty lipsticks came in a duo set. The first shade is called Thistle which is a purple taupe color. The one next to it is rhubarb which is a nice rose color. I really enjoy both these lipsticks. They sit nice on the lips and the colors are nice. I also enjoy the minty smell they have. I got this mini pair at Sephora for $15. There is another mini duo in the shades meringue and fig.

Lime Crime velvetine in faded: I have always wanted to try the lime crime velvetines but have heard bad things about ordering off their website. Lime crime ended up going on sale on Hautelook. If you don’t know what Hautelook is, it’s a Nordstrom-owned website that has flash sales. The velvetines were only $10 so I figure I could get one. I’m honestly a little disappointed, The first time I wore it, it was very sticky and a little patchy. I also feel like mine came not full. I would totally try another one but I’m gonna wait for them to come back on HauteLook. The shaded faded is very similar to Bite beauty in thistle. It’s not on HauteLook right now but you can still check this out on Lime Crime’s website.

Wet and Wild Liquid Catsuit in Pink Really Hard: I have heard amazing things about these liquid lipsticks! For some reason, I was really drawn to this bright pink color, which is not like me. I have to say that they hype is true with these. They feel nice on the lips and last a reasonable amount of time. It is a little patchy but could just be this color. I got this at Target for $4.99

E.L.F. gel lip stain in dewy berry- This lip stain is part of their aqua line and I love the blue lid. This lip stain is infused with rose water and vitamin E. So it should be really hydrating on the lips. I feel like this is actually pretty drying. But if you put some chapstick on throughout the day, it’s not too bad. The color is really nice for every day. I definitely want to get some more of these. I got this at Target for $3.99.

Too Faced Sweet Peach lipgloss in pure peach- I have wanted to try these for so long! For some reason, I am very drawn towards the mono color packaging. I used to hate lipgloss but wanted to try some better lipglosses. After trying these, I want to try more lipglosses. This is not very stick and is actually really hydrating. The color is really nice also. I dig the fake peach smell but other people may not like it. I really want the color, papa don’t peach. I got this at Sephora for $19.

Don’t forget to let me know if you’ve tried any of these. Also if you guys have any color suggestions for Lime Crime, let me know. Have a great week and I will see you Saturday!

My heated blanket- This is the background that everything is laying on. I was walking through Target and saw that the heated blankets were 50% off. I’ve been wanting one because I love to be extremely warm. I sleep with 3 blankets on me every night. This has been one of the best purchase decisions I have ever made. I love it so much! I’ve been sleeping with it on and I have been sleeping so good. I would recommend going to your Target and seeing if they have heated blankets on sale.

Ello water bottle- I am the worst at drinking water so I figured if I got a cute water bottle then I would be more excited to drink water. This is actually working. This also came with a mixer ball so it can be used for protein shakes. The bottle is also glass which is so much better than plastic. I got this for $15 at Target

Checkered robe- A robe is something that I’ve also been wanting. This was on the sale rack at Target. (Are you starting to see a trend here?) I picked it up and it is so warm. I sit in it for embarrassingly too long.

Naturebox snacks- YouTubers use to always talk about naturebox when it was a subscription service. Now you just buy the snacks individually. They sell some of the snacks in Target and I’ve been trying to snack healthier. The big island pineapple is some of the best dried pineapple I’ve ever had. To be honest the selection isn’t the best at Target and I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to buy them online.

Loreal infallible foundation sponge- I love this sponge more than I love my real techniques sponge. It is so much softer. When I read reviews a lot of people said it was the closest to a beauty blender they could find. I have not tried the actual beauty blender but I hope to compare these two soon. This was $7 at Target.

Favorite Song- Shape of You by Ed Sheeran

What I’ve been watching- Shane Dawson’s creepy videos playlist

So I guess you could say that Target was also a favorite of mine because I purchased all of these things at Target. Let me know what you guys loved this month and what you’re looking forward to in March. Have a great week!

Essence Soo Glow!

Essence Soo Glow!

I’ve just recently started getting really into highlighter and bronzer. I saw these two highlighters when I was in target and thought they looked really nice. They are called the Essence Soo Glow! cream to powder highlighter. Cream to powder products blow my mind every time. This highlighter comes in two shades. The first one is look on the bright side which is a champagne color. The other one is called bright up your life which is a pink rose color. I really enjoy these highlighters. If you are going to put powder on your face, you have to put these on before. These do not apply well on top of a powder. They don’t apply smoothly and the break apart. I think they can apply differently on different foundations also. Sometimes I like to apply these on bare skin if I don’t really feel like wearing makeup. I find the best way to apply them is just with my fingers. You can also really build these up if you like an intense glow. That’s really all there is to say about these. I totally recommend picking these up. They are only $3.50 at Target. Let me know if you have tried these before and what you think about them.

November Favorites|2016

November Favorites|2016

november 2016 faves.jpg

I honestly didn’t have that much favorites this month. There wasn’t really anything I was obsessing over except these few things. This has been such a busy semester and I have been neglecting going and trying new things. Hopefully I will be able to start trying new things to tell you guys about. Let me know what your favorite thing was this month.

Victoria’s Secret Fragrance Mist in Blush: I have been wanting to try some new perfumes and scents. I was buying some bras and they offered this gift set with the lotion, a lip-gloss, and a travel perfume for $10! Of course I added it on to my purchase. This scent is so amazing. Floral scents are not something I normally enjoy but there’s something about this. This bottle is normally $18 and you can check it out here. This is something that I’m going to repurchase.

Victoria’s Secret Coconut Hydrating Body Lotion: I was not expecting this to be anything special because it’s just lotion. This feels so amazing and I love that it absorbs into my skin quickly. I feel like with bath and body works lotions they make my skin feel greasy and doesn’t absorb. This does actually absorb into my skin and I really like the scent of it. This is also normally $18 and you can click here to check it out.

ELF Contour Palette: These quads that ELF has are always being raved about. This contour shade is the perfect shade for me. The top right shade I will use as a brightener underneath my contour. Sometimes I’ll mix that color with the bottom left color to make a blush. It sounds weird but it looks pretty good. The highlighter isn’t my favorite but it isn’t bad either.  I got this for $6 at Target. I want to go get all the other quads because you can pop each color out of the palette to customize them.

Love Lettuce Lush Fresh Face Mask: This is the first fresh face I have tried from lush. I really like this mask. It has lavender oil which really soothes my skin. I also like that it’s very gentle because these expire really fast so I’ve been using it 3 times a week. Do any of you know how long you can use a fresh face mask after the expiration date?

What I’ve been watching: The Gabbie Vlogs I am a YouTube junkie and literally watch it all day every day. I have been watching The Gabbie Show for a while now and I love her. For some reason I never watched her vlogs, but I fell in love with them and watched every single one.

What I’ve been listening to: Lore podcasts. In Each one of these podcasts the person tells a different story. All the stories are based off of legends and folklore. These are so intriguing. I listen to mine on google play but you should be able to listen to them on any kind of podcast app or website.

Golden Emerald- Review

Golden Emerald- Review

I have seen so many people talk about the Loreal infallible eyeshadows so I decided to pick one up. All of the colors in the line are shimmery which is kind of disappointing. I wish there were some matte shades because I need more matte eyeshadows. The color I picked up is called golden emerald and it was 6.99 at Target. It’s a really nice deep green color with gold shimmers in it. The color is amazing and I’ve kind of fallen in love with it. Loreal claims this eyeshadow “has intense maximized color, luxurious powder-cream texture, waterproof, crease resistant, and fade resistant.” First off, this eyeshadow does have amazing pigmentation. The color is so rich. When I first touched the eyeshadow, I did notice how creamy and soft it was. I wanted to keep touching but I did not want to waste it. I have not tested if it is waterproof but it for sure does not crease or fade. One thing I did notice was quite a bit of fallout underneath my eyes. I don’t know what causes that. It could be my brush or the way I’m applying it. I did do a wet and dry swatch and the wet swatch is on the left side. There’s not much of a difference between the two, except it is a little darker when wet. I give this eyeshadow a 10 out of 10 and you should go buy some. If you wanna check out Loreal’s full-color range you can click here. Let me know if you guys have a certain color that you like so I can go buy it. Have an amazing day!

New Favorite Foundation

New Favorite Foundation

I was using an Ulta foundation for the longest time. I thought that I really liked it. It was a great color and stayed on well. As time went on I realized that I hated it. The Ulta foundation I was using was so cakey, and I don’t know how it took me so long to notice. My skin is combination type and with this foundation my skin would start to feel really oily. So the hunt for a new foundation began. I went to Target and kind of just walked around the makeup section when I came across this Revlon foundation. This is the Revlon colorstay foundation. What caught my eye was that it was specifically for oily or combination skin. The bad thing about my Target is that it doesn’t have testers so I kind of just guessed. I ended up getting the shade nude #200. Nude is a little light for me but it’s fixable with a little bit of bronzer. So far I really like this foundation! It applies really nicely. My face doesn’t feel oily and the foundation isn’t too heavy on my skin. This foundation lasts all day and does not cake up at all.  I would very much recommend this foundation. Are there any products you think I should try?foundation

What’s In My Purse?

What’s In My Purse?

I very much needed to clean out my purse. It’s been awhile since I’ve gone through my purse and got rid of things I don’t need. I don’t really know if people like these kinds of things, but go ahead and let me know if you do or not. First I’ll show you what my purse looks like. I got this purse at target last year. It was probably around $30. The gray (grey? Which way is it spelled?) is really nice because it goes with pretty much everything. The Front pocket is so nice to keep little things in. On the inside of the main part there are a couple of little pockets too. purse

Front Pocket

front pocketNow I’m going to show you what I keep in the front part of the purse. I have two things of lotion and a chapstick. I really only use the bath and body works lotion so I should probably get rid of the other one. Lip balm is an absolute essential! I cannot live without it. Dramamine is also something that’s nice to have because I get motion sickness in the car. So if I happen to go on a long car ride somewhere then I already have some handy. This is everything I keep in that front pocket for easy access.

Essentials

These all came from my main pocket and are things I never leave out of my purse. First is messentialsy wallet and keys. I don’t think I really need to explain why those are essentials. My wallet is also from target and I think it goes with purse really nicely. Then I have a pen. Whenever I have the pen I don’t need it, but when I need a pen I don’t have it. Does that happen to anyone else? I also have pepper spray because I usually get off work late. You can never be too safe. My last essential is a pouch to keep tampons and liners in. My fellow ladies will understand.

Random(Mostly Trash)

Of course I have random pieces of trash in my purse that I don’t need. This is surprisingly not as much trash as there usually is. I have a random SD card and I don’t know whats on it. There’s a receipt, empty headache medicine, and a glass wipe. Also, if you read my January favorites you’ll see that there’s a guava ball right there. I try to keep some snacks in my purse at all times. Well that’s everything that’s in my purse. Let me know what your purse essentials are and if there’s anything unusual you keep in there.trash
