Hello, everybody! I hope you had a wonderful month. I’ve had a great time not going to school and transitioning into full-time work. I have tried a lot of new things this month and I want to share a few of the things that I am obsessed with!
Sunglasses- I have no idea what brand these sunglasses are. I found them at Ross for $4 and I instantly fell in love. I feel so fierce when I wear them.
Target wallet- I have been needing a new wallet for the longest time. My previous wallet was so bulky. This is nice because it has a wrist strap so I don’t have to take my purse. My phone can even fit inside and I can clip my keys onto it. I got this for around $15.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation- I have not tried anything in the fit me range before. I got the dewy and smooth finish because I have been very into that dewy look recently. I have combination skin and this does not make my face oily at all. This looks so nice on the skin and I don’t even feel the need to set it. The foundation still looks good at the end of the day. I bought this at Target in the shade Ivory for $6.
Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Conditioner- My main shampoo and conditioner for my hair is the Yes to Tea Tree and Sage Oil for my dry scalp. I don’t like to use that conditioner throughout my hair because it can dry out my hair. So I use the tea tree one on my scalp and this one throughout the rest of my hair. This makes my hair shiny and soft. My hair is very damaged and I have been loving this! I got this at Target for $5.
Pacifica Cactus Water Makeup Wipes- I’ve recently got into using makeup wipes again so I’ve been trying all different kinds. These smell so good and are very soft! I also got these at Target for $6. (Can you tell I love Target?)
*sorry for no pictures this month*
Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon- This was one of the Sephora birthday gifts this year so it’s a pretty small size. I have been loving this product, though. It glides on so easily and is really easy to fix if mistakes are made. The full size is $25 and I might actually purchase the full size. This eyeliner comes in a lot of different colors and you can check it out here.
Real Techniques Makeup Sponge- I am on a bit of a small budget and I just can’t bring myself to spend $20 on the beauty blender. When I do get to splurge and buy a high-end product, I don’t want it to be a beauty sponge. There’s some debate on whether this sponge is actually a dupe for the beauty blender. Personally, I think the real techniques sponge applies my makeup very well. One of these days I am going to try the beauty blender so I can see the real deal. For now, this $6 sponge will work for me.
Peaches and Nectarines- I love summer because these stone fruits are my favorite fruits of all time. I eat one every single day. They are the most perfect fruit in the world. Fall is another amazing season but I will be sad to see stone fruits go.
Rimmel Retro Glam Mascara- I picked this mascara up because I’ve heard it’s a dupe for the better than sex mascara. I have no idea if that is true. Eventually, I’ll get the too faced one and pit them against each other. For right now I really like this mascara. The wand is a bit big but I like how it applies to my lashes.
Favorite Song- Closer by The Chainsmokers and Halsey (Although the VMA performance was not very good.)
Favorite Show- Bob’s Burgers. I already love this show but have been watching it again.
I really need to start trying to stick to my posting schedule. If you don’t know, I try to post Tuesday and Saturday. Obviously, I’m not succeeding at this right now but I’m trying. I don’t really have a lot of favorites this month but I have been loving these few things.
Pantene 3 minute miracle conditioner
While walking through Walmart this conditioner caught my eye. It’s like a daily hair mask. The first week I used it I didn’t like it so much. It didn’t seem like it was doing anything for my hair. As I’ve used it more I have noticed a huge difference in my hair! My hair is so soft and shiny. They have a couple different ones depending on what you want it to do to your hair. I meant to pick up the one for damaged hair but I accidentally picked up the one for frizzy hair. I have a bit of frizzy hair and it definitely has helped with that.
Stuff you should know podcast
I’m not joking when I say that I’ve pretty much stopped listening to music in the car. This podcast is so interesting. They pick a different subject for each podcast and just talk about it and interesting facts about it. I would totally recommend it. It is both on iTunes and Google Play.
Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Blush
I talked about this blush not too long ago when I did a review on some drugstore products I bought this. This blush is so pigmented and a really nice pink color. A little bit goes a long way with this and it lasts all day. If you wanna read my reviews on some of the other products I picked up you can click here.
May Coop Raw Sauce
I was standing in line at Sephora and was looking at the little things they have by the checkout. I saw this thing called raw sauce. I have never heard of anything like this before. It’s supposed to make it easier for your serums to absorb into your skin. I don’t really use serum, but it does help my oil I use absorb better. The oil doesn’t sit on top of my face as much. This was $18 at sephora.
Go ahead and let me know what your favorite products were this month so I can try them. If you’re not already go ahead and follow me on twitter and instagram so I can get to know you guys better. Have a great day!
