I have not posted in so long! Life got kind of crazy this past month and I just needed to focus on all of that instead of stressing about getting a blog up. First, new thing in my life is that I finished the semester. I did well on all my finals and am satisfied with all my grades. Only two more classes and then I’m done with my bachelor’s degree in forensic science. Seeing all my friends graduate this past month has made me so excited to graduate in the fall. Next thing that has happened is that I moved! I have been living on my college campus the whole time I’ve been in college. I usually go home for the summer but last summer I stayed. I have officially moved into an off-campus apartment with one of my best friends. Moving was kind of crazy but I’m pretty much all settled in now. The last thing that happened is that I’ve started is working full time. My current job offered me a full-time position which was perfect timing. It’s been a little tough just because My hours suddenly doubled and I’m not used to that. Hopefully this Saturday I will start posting normally again. I’m excited for this summer and all my goals.
Within the past couple weeks, I have started a new journey in my life. I have finally made the commitment to get healthier. There have been tons of times in the past when I say I’m going to get healthier but I end up falling off that path. Finally, I am completely determined! Planet Fitness did a special deal for sign ups so I ran over, signed up, and I have been going to the gym. Right now I live in a dorm situation because my university only has the dorms open for the summer. The end of this month I get to move back into an apartment and I will have a kitchen again. Having a kitchen is going to make it so much easier to eat healthy again. The goal is not to lose weight or get super skinny. I simply want to be healthier so I can feel better. Sharing my journey with you guys is going to help me stay committed. I was thinking about doing a fit Friday (so original). So, this was just an introduction to the idea.
