Hello, everybody! I hope you had a wonderful month. I’ve had a great time not going to school and transitioning into full-time work. I have tried a lot of new things this month and I want to share a few of the things that I am obsessed with!
Sunglasses- I have no idea what brand these sunglasses are. I found them at Ross for $4 and I instantly fell in love. I feel so fierce when I wear them.
Target wallet- I have been needing a new wallet for the longest time. My previous wallet was so bulky. This is nice because it has a wrist strap so I don’t have to take my purse. My phone can even fit inside and I can clip my keys onto it. I got this for around $15.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation- I have not tried anything in the fit me range before. I got the dewy and smooth finish because I have been very into that dewy look recently. I have combination skin and this does not make my face oily at all. This looks so nice on the skin and I don’t even feel the need to set it. The foundation still looks good at the end of the day. I bought this at Target in the shade Ivory for $6.
Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Conditioner- My main shampoo and conditioner for my hair is the Yes to Tea Tree and Sage Oil for my dry scalp. I don’t like to use that conditioner throughout my hair because it can dry out my hair. So I use the tea tree one on my scalp and this one throughout the rest of my hair. This makes my hair shiny and soft. My hair is very damaged and I have been loving this! I got this at Target for $5.
Pacifica Cactus Water Makeup Wipes- I’ve recently got into using makeup wipes again so I’ve been trying all different kinds. These smell so good and are very soft! I also got these at Target for $6. (Can you tell I love Target?)
My heated blanket- This is the background that everything is laying on. I was walking through Target and saw that the heated blankets were 50% off. I’ve been wanting one because I love to be extremely warm. I sleep with 3 blankets on me every night. This has been one of the best purchase decisions I have ever made. I love it so much! I’ve been sleeping with it on and I have been sleeping so good. I would recommend going to your Target and seeing if they have heated blankets on sale.
Ello water bottle- I am the worst at drinking water so I figured if I got a cute water bottle then I would be more excited to drink water. This is actually working. This also came with a mixer ball so it can be used for protein shakes. The bottle is also glass which is so much better than plastic. I got this for $15 at Target
Checkered robe- A robe is something that I’ve also been wanting. This was on the sale rack at Target. (Are you starting to see a trend here?) I picked it up and it is so warm. I sit in it for embarrassingly too long.
Naturebox snacks- YouTubers use to always talk about naturebox when it was a subscription service. Now you just buy the snacks individually. They sell some of the snacks in Target and I’ve been trying to snack healthier. The big island pineapple is some of the best dried pineapple I’ve ever had. To be honest the selection isn’t the best at Target and I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to buy them online.
Loreal infallible foundation sponge- I love this sponge more than I love my real techniques sponge. It is so much softer. When I read reviews a lot of people said it was the closest to a beauty blender they could find. I have not tried the actual beauty blender but I hope to compare these two soon. This was $7 at Target.
Favorite Song- Shape of You by Ed Sheeran
What I’ve been watching- Shane Dawson’s creepy videos playlist
So I guess you could say that Target was also a favorite of mine because I purchased all of these things at Target. Let me know what you guys loved this month and what you’re looking forward to in March. Have a great week!

Gray (or grey?) Lace Up Shirt- I have been wanting a shirt like this because I really like this trend. All the shirts I kept finding went really low in the bust area. I wanted a shirt in this style that didn’t show a lot of cleavage. This shirt is perfect. I found this at Kohls for around $10. I have been loving this on me. By the way, how do you guys spell gray or grey?
Green Fuzzy Shorts- My mom got me a pajama set for Christmas. It came with a shirt, a long pair of pants, and these shorts. I was thrown off by the fabric of the shorts because they’re fuzzy. I love them! They are so comfy. I’m not quite sure where my mom got these shorts.
Essence Soo Glow Highlighter- This a cream to powder highlighter which is pretty cool. This is in the shade bright up your life, which is a light pink shade. These apply really nicely and I did end up buying the other shade. A review will be coming on those soon. You can check these out on target’s website.
Covergirl truBlend Fixstick Concealer- I honestly hate this as a concealer. I feel like this doesn’t sit on makeup well. It might sit well under makeup but I have not really tried that. Recently I’ve realized that I love this as a light foundation. I’ll draw some lines on my face with this and blend it out with a brush. It honestly makes my skin look really nice. I got this at Walgreens for $8.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone- I’ve already read this book and seen all the movies. Lately, I have been in such a mood to read Harry Potter. I also don’t own any of the books. I decided to reread the series and purchase the books as I read them. I have only read through the 4th book so I hope to actually read through the whole series this time. Also, this cover is a special cover they sell at Barnes and Noble. When all the books are next to each other on the shelf the binding makes a picture.
Favorite Show- Series of Unfortunate Events
Favorite Song- Weekend by Louis the Child and Icona Pop
This is a very late post, but I forgot that I had these products hidden away. I do not really go through a lot of products, but here’s what I went through in the last half of 2016.
Neutrogena body clear body wash- Let’s be honest we all get body acne from time to time. It happens to be a problem I deal with and I feel like this worked very well for that.
- Would I rebuy? Already have
Pantene 3 minute miracle conditioner- This is supposed to be like a daily hair mask for your hair. Honestly, I didn’t really notice a difference from normal conditioner.
Revlon colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin- I really liked this foundation. The shade was good for me and it sat nicely on my skin. I also happen to enjoy that there is SPF in this.
- Would I rebuy? Yes, I want to go repurchase this.
Suave Keratin dry shampoo- I did not like this dry shampoo. It really didn’t feel like it did anything for my hair.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, repair hair mask- I received this in an ipsy bag, so this is a sample. Honestly, I don’t feel like I used this enough to form an actual opinion on it. I watch a person on YouTube who raves about this.
Essence say no to dark circle- This is the very first color corrector that I have tried. I think it works ok. I want to try other color correctors but this one is only $3.
- Would I rebuy? already have
Pure Brazilian miracle leave-in conditioner- I really liked this on my hair! I love spray this on my ends to help with frizziness. I want to try other leave-in conditioners to see what else I like.
Urban Decay perversion mascara- This was another product I received in an Ipsy bag. I love receiving sample mascaras because It gives me the chance to try them. This mascara didn’t really have anything special to me. It just seemed like a normal mascara.
Covergirl supersizer mascara- Honestly, I only bought this because it had star wars packaging. I was really surprised by the wand the first time I used it. It was a decent mascara and surprised me.
- Would I rebuy? Probably, but I want to try different ones.
I was using an Ulta foundation for the longest time. I thought that I really liked it. It was a great color and stayed on well. As time went on I realized that I hated it. The Ulta foundation I was using was so cakey, and I don’t know how it took me so long to notice. My skin is combination type and with this foundation my skin would start to feel really oily. So the hunt for a new foundation began. I went to Target and kind of just walked around the makeup section when I came across this Revlon foundation. This is the Revlon colorstay foundation. What caught my eye was that it was specifically for oily or combination skin. The bad thing about my Target is that it doesn’t have testers so I kind of just guessed. I ended up getting the shade nude #200. Nude is a little light for me but it’s fixable with a little bit of bronzer. So far I really like this foundation! It applies really nicely. My face doesn’t feel oily and the foundation isn’t too heavy on my skin. This foundation lasts all day and does not cake up at all. I would very much recommend this foundation. Are there any products you think I should try?
