My heated blanket- This is the background that everything is laying on. I was walking through Target and saw that the heated blankets were 50% off. I’ve been wanting one because I love to be extremely warm. I sleep with 3 blankets on me every night. This has been one of the best purchase decisions I have ever made. I love it so much! I’ve been sleeping with it on and I have been sleeping so good. I would recommend going to your Target and seeing if they have heated blankets on sale.

Ello water bottle- I am the worst at drinking water so I figured if I got a cute water bottle then I would be more excited to drink water. This is actually working. This also came with a mixer ball so it can be used for protein shakes. The bottle is also glass which is so much better than plastic. I got this for $15 at Target

Checkered robe- A robe is something that I’ve also been wanting. This was on the sale rack at Target. (Are you starting to see a trend here?) I picked it up and it is so warm. I sit in it for embarrassingly too long.

Naturebox snacks- YouTubers use to always talk about naturebox when it was a subscription service. Now you just buy the snacks individually. They sell some of the snacks in Target and I’ve been trying to snack healthier. The big island pineapple is some of the best dried pineapple I’ve ever had. To be honest the selection isn’t the best at Target and I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to buy them online.

Loreal infallible foundation sponge- I love this sponge more than I love my real techniques sponge. It is so much softer. When I read reviews a lot of people said it was the closest to a beauty blender they could find. I have not tried the actual beauty blender but I hope to compare these two soon. This was $7 at Target.

First Fit Friday

First Fit Friday

Hello, lovely people! I have recently made the promise to myself to be a healthier person. I want to be more fit and just feel all around healthier. I recently took my first step in my fitness journey which is a gym membership. Planet Fitness was doing a special last month for $1 starting fees and normally it is a lot more money. Then after that, it’s only $10 a month! The whole point of Planet Fitness is that it’s a judgement-free zone which is so great for me. I always feel like I’m being judged at the gym even though I’m probably not. I’m not working with a personal trainer or anything like that. I literally just go on pinterest and type in a workout for what ever body part I want to work out. Pinterest is an amazing thing which I use every day. I love going to the gym. It’s something that I can do everyday that is my “me” time. I go there, listen to a podcast, and just focus on myself. If you want to get healthy too, you don’t need a gym membership. I just got a gym membership because the gyms on campus are filled with the guys who grunt and throw weights around. Planet fitness is a way better environment. Exercising can totally be done at home too. Gyms aren’t an essential but they are very nice. Let me know what your favorite workouts are so that I can give them a try. My New Journey

My New Journey

Within the past couple weeks, I have started a new journey in my life. I have finally made the commitment to get healthier. There have been tons of times in the past when I say I’m going to get healthier but I end up falling off that path. Finally, I am completely determined! Planet Fitness did a special deal for sign ups so I ran over, signed up, and I have been going to the gym. Right now I live in a dorm situation because my university only has the dorms open for the summer. The end of this month I get to move back into an apartment and I will have a kitchen again. Having a kitchen is going to make it so much easier to eat healthy again. The goal is not to lose weight or get super skinny. I simply want to be healthier so I can feel better. Sharing my journey with you guys is going to help me stay committed. I was thinking about doing a fit Friday (so original). So, this was just an introduction to the idea.
